FAQs

How do I care for my yarn?

All of our yarn is Superwash Merino. While we do always recommend hand washing with a gentle wool wash and laying flat/blocking to dry, the fibers are machine washable. We recommend hand washing to keep your creations looking as new as possible for years to come!

Where do you get your yarn?

All of our yarn is ethically sourced from South America and is mulesing-free.

Will my yarn bleed?

We do our best to set dyes during the dyeing process and yarns are rinsed in a lukewarm bath with wool wash to remove excess dye. However, bleeding may still happen. We recommend washing/blocking projects in cold water to keep bleeding at a minimum.

Will the yarn I receive look exactly like the photos?

While we do try to capture the true color of our yarn in natural light, there is variation from screen to screen. We strive to dye each skein of a colorway with the exact same dye application but there is variation from skein to skein. The way each skein turns out is what makes hand dyed yarn so special. We do recommend alternating your skeins every few rows during a project to avoid color pooling.
